Who We Work With

Hotel Hejab works exclusively with hotels and hospitality operators — owners, operators, and leadership teams who need structured, senior-level thinking applied to real operational challenges in one of Canada's most demanding markets.

Independent Hotels Facing Revenue and Experience Gaps

Independent hotels operating without the backing of a major flag often carry the full weight of revenue strategy, guest experience, and staff development on a lean internal team. We bring the structured methods and senior operational depth that close those gaps without adding permanent overhead. Our work is grounded in the Niagara Falls hospitality corridor, where independent operators compete directly against large branded properties every day.

  • Reduce revenue leakage across channels
  • Audit every guest touchpoint systematically
  • Build consistent service culture on the floor
  • Strengthen online reputation with structured methods

Owners and Investors Who Need Confidential Strategic Counsel

Hotel ownership decisions — repositioning, rebranding, acquisition due diligence, or preparing an asset for a new phase — require frank, evidence-based advice from people who have operated at a senior level, not just modelled scenarios. We provide confidential strategic counsel to owners and investors who need a trusted advisory voice, not a generic report. Our limited engagement model means your file receives focused senior attention throughout.

  • Confidential ownership and investor advisory
  • Strategic planning grounded in operational reality
  • Pre-opening and rebrand support end to end
  • Operational efficiency review across departments

Food and Beverage Operators Seeking Stronger Performance

Hotel F&B outlets carry significant cost and complexity, and underperformance in this area erodes both margin and guest satisfaction. We conduct strategic and operational reviews of hotel food and beverage concepts, identifying where the current model leaks value and where focused changes produce measurable improvement. Our approach connects F&B performance directly to the broader guest experience and revenue picture.

  • Strategic review of F&B concept and positioning
  • Identify operational inefficiencies by outlet
  • Connect F&B outcomes to overall guest scores
  • Practical recommendations grounded in hotel operations

Hotel Leadership Teams Building a Stronger Service Culture

General managers and department heads who want to raise service consistency across their teams need training that is scenario-based and immediately applicable, not theoretical. We design and deliver service excellence programmes built around the real situations your staff encounter, from front desk to housekeeping to food and beverage. The result is a service culture with a shared foundation, not a one-day workshop that fades within a week.

  • Scenario-based training for front-line teams
  • Consistent service standards across all departments
  • Evidence-based methods drawn from senior operations
  • Measurable shift in guest experience scores

Why us

Why Hotel Hejab

  • Sector-Exclusive Expertise

We work only with hotels and hospitality operators. That focus means our frameworks, benchmarks, and scenario libraries are built entirely from hospitality data — not adapted from generic consulting toolkits.

  • Practitioners, Not Just Advisors

Our consultants have managed hotel departments and properties before advising them. Recommendations are grounded in operational reality, not theoretical frameworks that fall apart at the front desk.

  • Evidence-Based Methods

Every engagement begins with structured data collection. We benchmark your property against your competitive set using real market data, so our recommendations are specific to your situation, not generic best practices.

  • Strict Confidentiality

All engagements are protected by mutual non-disclosure agreements. We do not discuss client situations publicly, and we are transparent about any potential conflicts before accepting a mandate.

How we work

From First Conversation to Measurable Results

Every engagement follows a clear, structured current — from the moment you reach out to the point where recommendations are embedded in your operation and producing results you can see.

  1. 1

    A Focused Discovery Conversation

We begin with a direct conversation about your property, your challenges, and what you are trying to achieve. There is no generic intake form — this is a senior-level exchange from the first call.

  2. 2

    Evidence-Based Assessment of Your Operation

Depending on your needs, we conduct a structured audit of the relevant areas — revenue management, guest touchpoints, service delivery, F&B, or operational processes. We gather evidence from the floor, not just from reports.

  3. 3

    Clear, Grounded Recommendations

We present findings that are specific to your property and actionable by your team. Every recommendation is rooted in what works in practice in competitive hotel markets, not in abstract frameworks.

  4. 4

    Hands-On Support Through the Change

We work alongside your leadership team during implementation, adapting recommendations to real conditions as they emerge. Our limited engagement model means senior consultants remain present and accountable throughout.

  5. 5

Outcomes You Can Measure and Build On

Whether the goal is stronger RevPAR, improved guest experience scores, a more consistent service culture, or a cleaner cost structure, we close each engagement with clear evidence of what has shifted and a foundation for continued improvement.

Frequently asked questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you work with branded hotels as well as independent properties?

Yes. We work with both independent and branded properties. For branded hotels, we work within your brand standards framework and focus on the areas where local management has discretion — typically revenue strategy, service culture, and operational efficiency.

How many engagements do you take on at a time?

We deliberately limit our concurrent engagements so that each client receives focused senior-level attention. This means our availability is sometimes limited, and we recommend reaching out early if you have a time-sensitive project.

Do you work outside the Niagara and Windsor region?

Yes. While our home base is in Niagara Falls and we have deep roots in the Ontario hospitality market, we take on project-based engagements across Ontario and Atlantic Canada. For audit and training work, we prefer to be on-site at your property.

What size of hotel do you typically work with?

We work with properties ranging from small boutique hotels of under 20 rooms to full-service properties with 200 or more rooms. Our methodologies scale to property size, and we are transparent about adjusting scope when a property is too small or too large for a standard engagement.

How do you charge — fixed fee or hourly?

Most of our engagements are priced as fixed-fee projects with a clearly defined scope and deliverables. This gives you cost certainty and aligns our incentives with delivering results efficiently. Retainer arrangements are priced on a monthly basis.

Can we start with a smaller engagement before committing to a larger one?

Yes, and we often recommend it. A standalone revenue audit or guest experience audit is a practical way to work together on a defined scope before committing to a broader programme. Many of our longer-term client relationships started with a single focused engagement.
